The restaurants setting, exterior, and interior are absolutely magnificent. As professionals of long-standing experience in the hotel and catering industry, the 4 of us found the food and presentation on the plates we ordered ranged from first class to questionable. With the negative points, starters were overdressed with parsley and greenery. My fish starter was lacking in taste. Main course dishes were disappointing in presentation. The linquini preparation was not hot. The duck was tough. Fig sauce to sweet. The pommes frite were overcooked and soggy. The vegetable garnish dried out and was very sad with the pork. See pictures. On the positive side, the sauce on the pork was excellent. The eggs in brioche were perfect. The lemon dessert was fantastic. All in all, we feel the kitchen has room for improvement in vegetables and garnish preparation. Wine was good. Service needs to improve in service techniques. For 4 persons with tip we paid 200 Euros. A splendid setting, but we feel that the kitchen must take more time to revise garnishings, presentations, and especially with the marriage of sauces for fish startes and its garnishings.

You as owner, I ask, when was the last time you sat down to eat at your restaurant as a client? Speak to your Entremetier, Saucier, Chef de cuisine and Chef de service. Show them our comments. Your establishment, in our humble opinions, deserves more improvement in the cuisine and restaurant service techniques to compliment the magnificent decor and setting that you...

Amazing experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. The „tartare asiatique“ was particularly notable. Every dish was somewhere between „on point“ and becoming a cherished memory. While somewhat expensive, the prices felt justified and fair for what we got, both in terms of the food and the overall experience.

The service was, frankly, impressive; our waiter was serving 6 (!) tables almost on his own, but our experience was immaculate, and the wait staff never appeared to be stressed or in a rush.

On a side note, the terrace gets very hot and humid, an issue that was probably exacerbated by the ongoing heatwave. I would recommend booking a table inside, for comfort and for the experience of dining...

La beautĂ© du lieu n’est pas discutable, la salle de restaurant est trĂšs belle, mĂȘme Ă  l’arrivĂ©e, la cascade Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du restaurant est trĂšs jolie Ă  regarder ! Concernant le service, le personnel n’est pas trĂšs souriant ni agrĂ©able. ( Je peux comprendre qu’on arrive fin de saison mais il y a un minimum ). Lors de la commande des boissons, mon mari a osĂ© demander ce qu’il y avait comme biĂšre, la rĂ©ponse «  Vous n’avez qu’à lire la carte, tout est notĂ©  » mais quand nous venons de nous installĂ©s, et n’avons que 4 cartes pour 11 personnes, malheureusement il n’a pas eu le temps de la consulter ! Concernant les plats, les avis sont mitigĂ©s, certains se sont rĂ©galĂ©s avec les gambas, ou encore les papardelles rossini, d’autres beaucoup moins avec des frites brĂ»lĂ©s, un carrĂ© de pomme de terre sec, de la ratatouille froide, et cuisson de la viande non respectĂ©. ( mais encore une fois, nous sommes servis sans une parole, donc difficile de savoir qui a demandĂ© quoi comme cuisson de viande ). Les desserts sont par contre trĂšs bon. Pour finir, je ne recommande pas ce restaurant avec des enfants, nous avions Ă  notre table un petit de 19 mois et une fille de 8 ans. Nous les avons gardĂ©s Ă  table jusqu’a la fin du repas, mais forcĂ©ment au bout d’un moment, ça devient long pour eux, nous les avons donc laissĂ© sortir de table et s’amuser autour de NOTRE table, sans cris, ils s’amusaient juste Ă  tourner autour de notre table. Le directeur est venu nous dire haut et fort que les enfants dĂ©rangent les autres, etc.. Un Ă©change plus discret aurait Ă©tĂ© apprĂ©ciĂ©, les tables voisines, Ă©galement interpellĂ©es par sa sĂ©rĂ©nade, nous disent que les enfants ne dĂ©rangent pas du tout, et qu’ils trouvent Ă©galement la remarque dĂ©placĂ©e. J’ai pour habitude de faire part de mes impressions directement aux restaurants ( Ă©tant moi mĂȘme directrice d’établissements, je prĂ©fĂšre que l’on me fasse part des remarques directement plutĂŽt que sur Google ), mais puisque le propriĂ©taire du lieu n’a pas eu la dĂ©licatesse de nous parler discrĂštement, je n’en ferais...

J’avais laissĂ© une note de 5 Ă©toiles il y a 4 ans, mais aujourd’hui, aprĂšs plusieurs visites dĂ©cevantes, je suis obligĂ© de revoir mon jugement. Ce n’est pas tant la cuisine qui déçoit complĂštement, mais l’ambiance globale, qui gĂąche vraiment l’expĂ©rience. Franchement, on n’a pas envie de revenir dans un lieu oĂč on se sent de trop dĂšs qu’on passe la porte. CĂŽtĂ© repas : Les plats enfants (pĂątes) : non assaisonnĂ©s, servis sans effort. La souris d’agneau Ă©tait bonne, avec un jus rĂ©ussi, mais encore une fois
 des lĂ©gumes (courgette, tomate) sans le moindre sel. On en vient Ă  se demander s’il n’y a pas une pĂ©nurie de sel en cuisine. Petit point aussi sur la carte : les pĂątes pour enfants sont indiquĂ©es sur le site, mais pas du tout sur la carte en restaurant. Et les pĂątes au saumon fumĂ©, pourtant affichĂ©es en ligne, ne sont soi-disant plus disponibles car la carte du site n’est plus Ă  jour. Un minimum de mise Ă  jour Ă©viterait ce genre de confusion. C’est d’autant plus dommage que j’ai connu cet Ă©tablissement avec un meilleur niveau. Et si la cuisine commence Ă  dĂ©cliner en plus de l’accueil glacial, il ne leur restera plus que leur emplacement insolite dans une grotte pour continuer d’attirer. Sans ça, clairement, il n’y aurait pas grand-chose qui donne envie de revenir. Seul vrai point fort du repas : les desserts. Le cafĂ© gourmand Ă©tait excellent, trĂšs bien exĂ©cutĂ©es. On sent qu’il y a un pĂątissier talentueux en cuisine, et ça sauve un peu les meubles.
