Café Aux Trois Moulins — Restaurant in Dunkirk

The family Cloet have sold this wonderful estaminet and the doors are now closed. The new owners from Calais will be carrying out renovation work and will hopefully reopen in November 2022. It was an honour to have been able to enjoy the special ambiance provided by Francine, Jean-Pierre and Ronald! On a positive note, the new owners seem intent on continuing to maintain the traditional feel, I wish them all the best!

A true gem. An authentic Estaminet serving the best freshly cut chips (cooked in beef dripping), plus home made Potjevleesch and Carbonade. You can of course you can just pop in for a beer..which is what a real Estaminet is all about.

Francine and family are sure to give you a warm welcome.

Fantastic food, kind staff, great music, wonderful atmosphere. Out of every restaurant we've tried since moving to Lille, this is our new favorite French restaurant. The food is organic and locally sourced. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. We had French lessons, a history lesson, and cultural lessons while we visited. Thank you...

Really nice atmosphere inside. The music is so vibey. I sat here with my husband and we ate fish and chips. They gave us some yummy free soup. The pastries are very good as well, we had speculooscake. The bathroom is superduper clean! There were paintings from a local well-known flemish painter! They were very nice....
