We arrived around 2.15pm, looking for coffee and ice cream. The sign outside says that they welcome you from 12:15 and 19:15. We sat at a table and after some time asked for a menu. A kind girl working behind the bar gave it to us. After picking our choices a very rude woman told us in French "did you just sat here without warning us? You can't do that! The kitchen is closed." We asked if we could have coffee and they also said no.... why were we given a menu then? Other servers saw us coming in and sitting, and nobody told us what we had to do. If you want people to wait to be seated, put a sign or have a host guiding people. If the kitchen closes early, state it outside. Finally, be kind to tourists and...

Not available for business in the afternoon. We got there at around 4pm. The sign outside says they welcome you from 12:15 and 19:15. Unfortunately, even though they are a tavern, they do not serve in the afternoon. The kitchen closes at 14:00 and opens again at 19:00. They also don't serve drinks, since they are not a bar. If all this was mentioned outside, at least it would be clear. Since their website is also not available, I had no way of knowing any of this. Wasted trip. Having been there I would say they need to advertise themselves as a restaurant and...

Very cute small spot that can actually hold more guests then expected. Full Flemish and Welsh inspired food, but seems like the steak was their bestseller. We were quite impressed over our 3 course menu for around 30€ p.p. and they were huge portions and very tasty. I was able to easily translate their menu with my Google Lens thus it was shown that they have a variety in food offerings. The beer selection was huge and very good (Brugues beer is recommended!) and they got good sizes (25,33,50,75cl). We enjoyed it a lot and will...

Our last meal in France after a 2 week holiday and this was the perfect finish: 🏡 Beautiful traditional decor – the interior felt cozy and authentic 👩‍🍳 Amazing service – our server Chloé was fantastic! She spoke great English and patiently explained the dishes that we haven't heard of before. 🍽️ Delicious traditional Flemish food – full of flavour and well presented And most importantly, dog friendly! Would definitely come back!
