A very nice auberge/hotel perfectly situated to explore the Gorges du Tarn. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with the added benefit of being multi-lingual. Excellent restaurant on a lovely private terrace overlooking the river, with a good choice of local dishes, prepared and presented in true gourmet style, and the waiters were able to explain the food clearly. The deserts were incredible. Very clean rooms, with a surprisingly good sized bathroom for an auberge. Beds were comfortable. We took a room with a terrace which gives a good view of the river. Plenty of parking nearby. When I go back to the Gorges I will definitely stay here again.

Nachts hört man....nichts.

Very comfortable room, one of the more spacious we’ve seen in a modest French hotel, with an impeccable bathroom - walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toiletries supplied. There were enough outlets to charge all our devices, and WiFi worked well. Our little balcony overlooked the beautiful river and cliffs. ||Our hostess kindly refrigerated a cheese we’d bought, and suggested she could make reservations for us at the restaurant across the way as Wednesday was the Auberge’s closed night. Good thing, too, as it was an excellent meal and those who had not reserved were out of luck.||Breakfast was copious - hot beverage of your choice brought to the table, everything else on a buffet. Jams and charcuterie were “faits maison”, hard boiled eggs, cheeses, juices, croissants, bread: they did give value for your €12.||The breakfast, dinner and cleaning staff were well trained and quick, and there were enough of them, which to me speaks to the quality of management.||There were a couple of drawbacks, not dealbreakers though. The parking lot is tiny and it was necessary for guests to juggle cars in the morning to let each other out. And there were a lot of flies around, despite the best efforts of the plentiful, vocal frogs in the...

Wonderful small hotel with a good restaurant. As we arrived on a Wednesday, when the restaurant was closed, the hotel contacted us in the late afternoon regarding dinner, which they seem to serve for hotel guests only. This was a nice gesture, and we were able to book for the evening. The room was really nice and spacious (they have different sizes!), and the bathroom was fine, too. Breakfast was good; the only small complaint is about the lady who took care of it — she was quite loud when clearing the tables, which was a bit annoying. And having to ask for additional bread or coffee or milk etc. is a bit annoying, too, as she is not always in the room, so sometimes you had to wait a while before you could even ask for it. The restaurant was really good. We ate there on all three evenings and, apart from two dishes, everything was excellent. We would love to stay...
