Ino Plage — Restaurant in Grasse

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I had a very disappointing experience that felt discriminatory. As a foreigner, I was asked to move from a table I was already seated at, with the excuse that the section was “reserved only,” even though there were multiple empty tables and no one ended up sitting there for the rest of the evening.

They moved me to another table, I ordered, ate, and paid, but the service throughout was rude and unwelcoming. The restaurant was closing in less than 30 minutes, so there was no reason to make me move—especially when no one else showed up.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. We visited as a group of friends and were served by two waiters who were extremely unfriendly throughout.

Most concerning, however, was the handling of food hygiene: a pigeon walked across our dishes, which had been placed on a side table before being served. The bird even picked from the food which was then served, yet the waiters showed no sign of understanding that this is utterly unacceptable.

The audacity to then charge the full price without any meaningful acknowledgment of the situation was beyond anything I have experienced in hospitality.

I only give 4 star for food as i ordered the beef stake medium rare and got it midium well. Iam a chef and you get understand how good is a chef by his stake skills. Otherwise the stake was mising some finishing touch like Maldon salt, the sauce was like beure noisette, but not really tasty just a bit bland. Needs more flavour in all dishes, the tartate was kind of ok, again mising salt and bit of flavour. Fried squid was good. Sea bream great option and tasty. Deserts were on the mark, but i dont get why they had french toast with nutella on the menu. Creme brulle, strawberry and cream great choices, the giant profiterol is huge and at least for 2 people.
