Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur — Local services in Grasse

The website didn't have the times that the races would start, so I emailed asking when the first race would be. I received an email back saying that the first race would begin at 7:15 all through July, when I arrive at the Hippodrome I learn that they do not, infact, start until 8:30. The entire place was rather dirty and not well upkept, many things were broken, and there was an incredible lack of signs about where to go.

Just getting into the Hippodrome was more work than it should've been, there is no pedestrian entrance or even a sidewalk for most of the nearly mile long walk from the only gate to the viewing stands, so even though it is inside of a city you are incredibly inconvenienced if you aren't taking...

I didn’t go to this place just for the horse races. That day, there was also an amazing show with actors and fireworks! Whoa what an incredible experience. The show was stunning: dancing wolf puppets and people moving around them it was pure beauty. It felt special and epic. Nous avons passé une excellent journée à l'hippodrome de Cagnes, personnel absolument adorable. J'avais réservé une table au Paddock pour 13h30, sur internet. Nous arrivons à 13h25, attendons 5 minutes, un serveur (grincheux, très grincheux) nous accueille avec un grand signe de "non", et nous lance "c'est complet". Bref, nous voyons avec le responsable, il nous donne une table. Et nous déplace 5 minutes plus tard car "elle est réservée pour des entraîneurs". Bon. Grincheux nous apporte les cartes, et part pendant 15 minutes. Revient prendre la commande, nous commandons la joue de boeuf. Revient 10 minutes plus tard, nous jette les cartes sur la table avec un "y a p'us de joue de boeuf". Bon.... Bref, nous n'avons probablement pas eu de chance, le serveur de la section d'à côté avait l'air sympa. Nous avons fini par commander autre chose, puis avons mangé 45 minutes plus tard... à 14h45... Heureusement le vin était bon, et nous étions contents d'être ensemble, mais en ce qui concerne le restaurant, pas une expérience terrible. Mais la vue...
