I ordered chicken and pork skewers. Unfortunately, I ate some of the chicken meat without cutting it, and upon noticing the weird consistency, I cut a small piece and saw that it was undercooked. The pork was severely undercooked, it was raw, I didn’t eat it at all. I wanted to return the dish immediately, however the waitress was chatting with some folks on another table and paid no attention to us. I regret eating some of the chicken while waiting for her, as at first gaslight myself that it might be ok and I am not a person who will interrupt other people’s conversation. When she finally noticed us wanting to speak to her, I told her that the meat was undercooked, so she took it back to the kitchen and to my surprise she brought it back in several minutes, it was warm but still raw. I told the waitress that I will not be eating this, all I got was a “sorry” from her. To my surprise, they still charged us for the meal. We paid for it, because it was our honeymoon and we didn’t want to spoil it, and to top it all the waitress returned our change in coins. So for 30€ all I got was raw meat, disrespectful attitude and some coins for a change. I regret not standing up for myself not to pay for the dish, but I was just shocked that they wanted me to pay for it as it was obviously uneatable. I indeed ate some of the chicken and I regret it now because it was raw. My husband ordered lamb and the lamb indeed well done. But my plate was 30€ for 2 raw skewers and now I am worried for my health. Never have I ever been charged for a plate I had returned until this point. This was supposed to be a romantic honeymoon dinner and it was a total disappointment. I will be getting some medical tests when I get home because now I’m freaking from eating several pieces of raw chicken. The worst spent 30€! We paid cash and received no receipt. I hope I don’t get sick...

If you are in Grasse or the area then this restaurant is essential to dine at. We are a French and English couple that were staying in Grasse for Fragrance related business and we dined here twice over four nights. Every element of the experience was outstanding. The building is very old and used to be a tannery (see Grasse history before it became known for fragrance) the decor now is homely and calming. Then meet Bahri (aka Barry) with his wife Coco (Coralie) so friendly and welcoming with a small team behind the scenes. Which brings us to the exceptional, perfectly sourced food that is prepared to bring fresh flavours onto the stage. The first night we had local Dorade which I have eaten all across the Mediterranean and this was fantastic. The second night it was the lamb.. amazing. Deserts were lovely. The drinks selection is well thought out too.

Bahri and Coco are fantastic and welcome "food selective" children too but the menu should have something for them (our daughter took the Ravioli - which was lovely too, of course.)

The only question you should ask yourself is "will we be able to book a table?" and depending on the time of year you may be out out of luck as it books fast and fulI so I suggest you book sooner rather that later. This is a gem in Grasse and the region. Thank you Bahri and Coco for truly enhancing our stay in Grasse. PS we are normally based just over an hour drive away in Ste Maxime and will be bringing the French family to Grasse specifically to dine here - it is that great and one of the best restaurants we have...

This place is really beautiful! Myself and my friend came here whilst on our trip to Grasse.

The outside and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful - perfect for any occasion!

In terms of food we both had the burrata to start which was really fresh. This was served with fresh, warm bread.

I had a main of butchers choice meet with truffle veg and my friend had candied lamb which had been cooking for six hours straight and was legit falling off the bone! The food was cooked to perfection and the sauces were all excellent.

In terms of dessert, we both had the creme brûlée which had a bit of a twist and had a tart base. It was lovely. I had a coffee which was lovely and served with warm milk.

For the three courses they had a special for €43 which was so reasonable considering the price. There were fish options and vegetarian options available here.

We had two waiters and both were really kind and friendly.

Anyone in Grasse I would advise you try...
