Lovely find that we chanced upon while looking for a lunch spot. Tucked in a quieter alley off the main Place. Very homely, down to earth feel. Service was brisk and unpretentious. Could seem rough offhand but they were not, service lady was very helpful, and one of the chefs who spoke English came out to help with menus and translation. Seems like many patrons were familiar customers to the staff which was a good thing. Food felt very homely and local. Flavours were simple and good. Aioli was light with salted cod and variety of vegetables. Fish soup was so flavour-packed with anchovies, and a side saffron/potato paste for the toasted bread was amazing. Bouillabaisse with cod and potatoes was also amazing. Stewed soft with the soup not overpowering. Portions were generous. Deserts looked amazing from other patrons but we were too full to try any. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Grasse looking for a unique local food experience apart from the usual French/italian options.

Gustoso e ottime pietanze!

This is a lovely traditional restaurant. We didn't notice any International dishes on the menu just good local food. The kind waitress used her best English and we used our awful French but we got food and wine. I had one of my favourites which is onions well cooked and served on bread with black olives (pissaladierie) followed by veal and potatoes pie. Both wonderful. There isn't much that when you have a glass of rose alongside isn't great.

We've had an excellent an inexpensive lunch here and I'd say this place is a must-go for Grasse. They have a small menu of local specialties which they seem to be experts on.

Recommendations: Aioli - light fish with vegetables and properly done aioli sauce Aubergine - finally someone extracted the hidden taste of aubergine and carmelized tomato sauce. The chef clearly understands how to get to the natural tastes of vegetables and make them into tasty dishes - I share this philosophy.

The restaurant itself has an indoor area in a small alley and a...

I was a little hesitant given some of the reviews, but I’m glad I ignored them. Lovely little local place, clearly with a grandmother or two in the kitchen. Had a bright and flavorful octopus salad with arugula, potatoes and tiny local olives that worked beautifully together. Followed by the local specialty of a generous slice of a stuffed Savoy cabbage with capers and veal accented with a tasty Demi glacé. Warm staff and regular customers genuinely interested in your enjoyment of the...
