I ate at La Maison Bellevue with my family end of July. I have eaten at all the other restaurants in Place Bellevue on a previous trip to Le Cannet, but this place was new so thought we'd give it a go. All was very nice until my daughter noticed her chicken skewers were pink in the middle. When we mentioned this to staff, there was no apology, they just asked if she wanted it cooked more. Er, yes of course, she'd rather not be ill on her holiday. Whilst they re-cooked her food, her side went cold, and the rest of us had almost finished our meals when her chicken arrived back to the table, again with no apology whatsoever, like it was a steak and just a matter or preference. These things sometimes happen, although undercooked chicken?? However, the main issue here is how the problem was dealt with, then there would be no need for such a negative review. An apology, a fresh side, a discount off the final bill, there were so many ways to fix this problem. This was a shame, as the other meals we had were delicious. Also, my daughter was bothered a lot by wasps whilst eating, and there was a table near us with children who were also being bothered by wasps. I'm not sure what the remedy to this is, however we have not had this issue at the other restaurants in this square, so I wonder what they do to reduce this problem. Unfortunately we did not return, as this experience put us off. Having only been open 4 months, if this establishment can work on their customer service, then they have the potential to be a very nice restaurant, in a...
Read moreFantastic welcome and good service from the moment we sat down. Very cosy atmosphere and surroundings. We shared a starter; grilled cauliflower which was amazing. The dish of the day was Roastbeef with silky mashed potato which was top and the octopus was one of the best I had, really tender and came with very nice sauce. The waiter was attentive and super nice trough out our meal. Will...
Dommage l’endroit...
