After reading google reviews about bad hotel situation - I was quite worried about my 2 night stay. But actually hotel seems quite fresh now and room is nice - with all we need - stove, microvawe, sink, dishes, pot and pan, refrigerator, even ironing board and a small terrace to enjoy dinner there. Everything was clean. No more construction works there. Good air conditioner and overall Im very happy. Cannes is quite expensive place but this hotel is very good for the price. Located 40 min walk from the beach, Cannes old town. We didnt took the breakfast offer (for 1 person 16€). As we passed by breakfast counter it seemed very poor offer and not worth this money as its possible to eat the same thing in nearby boulangerie by less price.

I recommend this hotel. Lovely pool and patio. Take your own drinks because the hotel restaurant is just open at certain times and there is no bar. Rooms have microwave and kettle and some utensils. Very clean and good view from the room's balcony. Spacious washrooms with toilet in seperate room. Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Great breakfast. Reception staff are friendly but speak English slowly so they understand better. There is no spa when the one spa lady is on vacation so enquire before stay. Too far to walk to beach and steep hill going back so rather take a bus. You can catch the number 1 bus. To find this bus, turn right into the street as you walk out the hotel, at the T-junction turn right and at the next T-junction turn left. Walk past the pharmacy on the corner and you will find a bus stop with glass panels across the road a few meters on. Pay the bus driver €1.50 to get a ticket. Scan the ticket and get of the bus at the first stop after seeing the ocean. To get back to the hotel, take the no. 1 bus for €1.50 again at the bus terminal situated across Hotel de Ville and get off at the stop which is directly next to the pharmacy that you passed taking the bus going to the beach. Restaurants are nearby as well as a Casino Shop (for croceries). The hotel corridor carpet is stained and...

Average property but very good location. Bus stop is less than a 5 min walk and if only takes about 20 mins to get to the beach. Very cheap bus fares. Property is close by (again not even a 5 min walk) to convenience shops, bakeries, butchers, fish mongers which is nice as we made use of the cooking facilities in the apartment. The kitchen utensils however were disappointing. Our bread knife was broken / hazardous. No proper cooking utensils available so cooking was a struggle. Our room was only cleaned once. The kitchen was still left a mess when we came back to the room. Most of the staff were pleasant apart from one lady at reception. Dark haired lady. Very rude and didn’t seem bothered to want to help at all. She had attitude towards us when we questioned her about overcharging us for our stay… which she did and she didn’t even apologise. Don’t think she should be working in reception if that’s how she treats paying guests. Apart from that pool was ok. Made use of the ping pong table which was fun. Hotel clean but could do with refurbishment. It’s a little run down in places. Liked the fact there is filtered cold and sparkling water available 24/7 free of charge in reception which was much needed while there...
