Lila Bay — Restaurant in Grasse

I personally didn’t like it. I know Lebanese and Indian food and I know that they didn’t make it authentic. The menu was also pretty small. The meat was raw from the inside and I know that this isn’t a rare thing to happen but you don’t serve medium kofta but steak. The portions were also very small compared to their prices. I don’t mind spending more money on food but then the food also has to convince me but this food really wasn’t good. I have tried many different restaurants from around the world and this really wasn’t it. After we got asked how it was we answered honestly but they couldn’t handle the criticism and explained that people wouldn’t visit the restaurant if they would make it authentic, but this is so not true. This is no argument for serving medium, bad seasoned, not really warm meat. I know that I haven’t left much food on my plate but this still doesn’t mean that it was good. I payed for the food and haven’t eaten anything all day so I don’t think that I have to justify for eating. The waitress was nice and we didn’t have to wait long...

The food wasn't bad, but we expected more for this price. If you are the only guest on a Saturday evening you expect a good service, which unfortunately wasn't the case. We ordered our favorite wine and were brought some cheap wine that tasted terrible. After we exchanged it, our wine was brought. Une réponse à la réponse du propriétaire était une évidence. Je suis la fameuse personne qui accompagnait et non ça ne m'a pas plu du tout et vous racontez que des mensonges ! Je ne reviendrai certainement pas avec ma sœur qui d'ailleurs ne vis même pas en France d'où votre mensonge et 9 euros pour un mezze est un sacré mensonge aussi, à ce prix là il y a une minuscule entrée. Nous en avons pris 2 et n'avons même pas eu une assiette ! Et payer 72 euros à 2 pour rien manger et être harcelé par l'énorme écran qui est flou et tourne en boucle des clips est juste inacceptable. Bref un cauchemar ce soit disant restaurant. Et oui effectivement l'établissement d'avant c'était un vrai restaurant gastronomique référencé au guide Michelin, qui s'appelait mon petit resto, très loin de ce boui boui qui à mon avis est à peine à la hauteur d'un snack et encore pour adolescent qui veux regarder la télévision...
