Brasserie L'Orée des Pistes — Restaurant in Grenoble

Been here on two occasions. The first was reasonable. We had two crepes in the restaurant which we're quite nice and some drinks. The second time we visited (the day after) the waiter took over 10 minutes to come to our table and when we asked for crepes and waffles again with drink he said it was not possible to sit in the restaurant, only takeaway.

Now if this is the rule, fair enough, but it should apply at all times and these items should be removed from the menu!

Also a side note; the restaurant wasn't even busy on the second day, loads of tables available. Just...

Such an amazing ski restaurant and bar in the bottom of slopes. Easily accessible by foot but as well for skiing as the lifts are right next to the place. We visited it almost every day during our ski trip. It provides nice terrace seating area for eating as well as nice and comfy "sun lounge chairs" for having a drink. Coffee is of amazing quality, staff is so friendly and willing to speak English. Foods are delicious - we went for traditional French dishes and really enjoyed the experience. Absolutely shocking experience!

Sat at an outside table with my family (4) to order some drinks. Even though the place was half empty, we were told we had to leave the table area and sit in a deck chair, as the table was for food only.

My son decided he would order a burger and chips (20 euro) and the rest of us ordered drinks.

Even though we ordered food (as told) we were told we would still have to leave. We cancelled our order and left that place for the first and last time.
