My sister and I chose this restaurant over all others because we wanted that authentic french cooking for our night off from the hotel food. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place in the whole resort! The food was just incredible, the staff were impeccable, and the gentleman waiter/cook made our experience delightful. The atmosphere in this small restaurant was amazing too, You walk in off the street and head upstairs to you table, there was a slight smokiness to the place (from the food) but everyone was enjoying themselves. If you are wanting the authentic french cuisine, where the french eat, this is the place to go. We had a raclette to share, and it was so good. We also had desert too, which may i add was superb. EVERYTHING is made by hand there on the premises. All the ice cream was homemade, the coulis also was prepared in the kitchen, you get the impression that the cook really has a passion for excellent and outstanding food. If I ever come back to Les Deux Alpes I will definitely come here again. Highly recommended and totally blown away. I wish all the staff all the very best, they have a real gem with...
Read moreVery cozy restaurant, just a few tables in two floors. We had a traditional fondue and it was really really good. Creme brule was also fantastic, and our wine choice was the cherry on the cake. Fondue for 2, a bottle of wine and a desert to share, 100€, which is OK for a ski village. The waitresses were very charming and attentive, 10/10, and the owner shared a shot of Genepi and a nice short talk as we were leaving. The only downside was that one of the options in the menu is a kind of barbeque made on the table, which creates a lot of heat and some smoke. Acceptable for us, but might be bothering for some people.
As a suggestion, paying at the table makes it easier to leave a tip to the waitresses, who really earn it. Paying at the counter, where there were people having drinks and talking, made it awkward to leave a tip.
We will surely come back in our next visit to...
Read moreThis review could be quite short by saying, amazing and fantastic, but it deserves way more credit. When we arrived we were immediately treated as family, waiters were very friendly. Even though it was very busy the food arrived within 30 minutes of ordering. We tried the cheese fondue, raclette and the bbq grill and all were simply amazing. If you find this hidden gem on google maps while you are here, make sure to visit, cant imagine anyone would regret eating here. Even the desserts were +1 of al the rest. The brownie had such an amazing taste and even the vanilla ice had a special taste in the good way. Pricing was very decent for...
