Being Punjabi, I know what Punjabi food is. Had Dinner yesterday, after talking to the owner to cook close to authentic home food, he basically served same food as that was mass produced. This is not true Indian restaurant but a place that just some onion / tomato gravy with same spices for all gravies. Portions are real small, Disgusting to call it Tikka Masala, Lamb masala was hard to chew.. Tandoori roti just like Naan... Maybe good for people who jut want some Gravy with spices..
In response to the reply from the owner.
I'm in US and you should come and visit Indian restaurants here, they are also not in Punjab. It's about QUALITY of food and you should represent what Indian food is, spice is not just chili powder, it's the depth of flavor. Good for you that you can still serve food in that environment. In Barcelona, there is Indian restaurant SWAD, the owner refuses to serve like other establishments does in name of Indian food and you should read my review on that too. It is always packed and people appreciate the food. There are lot of other restaurants who have same mind set as yours and it's a pity, but you may have your...

There were two issues with this restaurant.
We are Indians and of course that's one of the reason these issues happened.
First of all, the owner lady doesn't know how to treat their customers. She was angry that we raised our hands to call the attender for our table which makes no sense, how else do we call the waiter who is at the other end of the restaurant?
Secondly, they were unhappy with the amount of food we ordered. Apparently, there each person should order one whole plate (plat complet) even if they don't want to eat so much.
As per my knowledge, there is no rule in France on minimum food to order according to the law and this discriminating against Indians. Telling the customers to mandatorily order food is not at all a nice gesture. We've not seen this behaviour when we went with French friends or when only French people go. This is only against Indians as they assume we are spendthrifts.
Coming to food review, nan and all the curries we had ordered tasted good, no...

Food: I tried butter chicken masala and palak paneer with garlic cheese naan. Food was delicious and quantity was more than enough. Moreover, during dinner, the owner provided us free welcome drinks. It has nice choice of food for both Vegeterian and non-vegetarian people. I would recommend mango and Banana Lassi at this place.
Lunch Menu: This place also has a nice lunch menu which offers a nice combination of food at lower price than dinner. If you are looking for among the best Indian food in Grenoble, undoubtedly, you can go to Punjabi dhaba.
Other things: Apart from the food, I also like the interaction of owner with their customers. It has a nice ambiance and walls are decorated with...
