VIVANT — Restaurant in Grenoble

Really great food with friendly owners. I would highly recommend to everyone seeking out a pleasant experience would it not have been for the fact that I left still a bit hungry.

I'm not a big eater but please adjust some of the portion sizes. It's really disappointing to pay 30€ for a meal and leave hungry. I'll happily come back after that's done!

edit: I do not know how to reply to the owner's response so I will just edit my original comment for it: Thanks a lot for your reply! I do not remember which kind of serving it was. The quality of the food and the ingredients were indeed outstanding. I do not expect you to serve copious amounts of self made fermented foods. I think that would be unreasonable for the price, indeed. Part of our menu was an american style salad with cucumbers etc. and I think it's possible to up the quantities of these dishes without too much of an impact on the price of the menu. I am not a cook however and I'm sure you are more than capable of fixing this detail! I'm looking forward to...

I had the pleasure of visiting Vivant and was thrilled to see that they offer options ranging from vegetarian to vegan. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and each dish beautifully presented. Although the restaurant is small, it comfortably accommodated our group of 10—definitely recommend making a reservation.

They offer a unique evening menu: a four-course tasting experience starting at €32. Prices can go up if you add dessert or drinks, easily reaching €40 or more. Keep in mind, this is a dégustation-style meal, so the portions are small but artfully crafted and full of flavor. The cuisine has strong Asian influences, which may not appeal to every palate. Just discovered this place. A dream come true! Vegetal, delicious, fermented foods, asiatic, local produce 🤩 perfect.
