The service at the reception was too confusing. I wouldn't say those receptionist girls were professional. We fully paid before coming to this city and the girl of the reception said she is not sure if any of their room is available or not!!! Although we got our room after a couple of hour. The room was good and had a beautiful mountains view and a very big window. But when we try to make some coffee we noticed that the coffee packets are already empty!!!! that little tiny refrigerator didn't work at all and once the tissue paper has finished they never filled it up !!! so we went out and bought some tissue paper. The next morning we went down for breakfast. I would say the breakfast was good untill I saw one of their staff was trying to slice a big bread with a knife and suddenly the knife fell down and the staff didn't even hesitate to pick it up and continued to slice the bread !!! It was so disgusting and disturbing to eat after that. I've never seen such a thing in my life!!! We stayed 2 nights there so when the day of check out came at 10 am the cleaning lady came and started knocking on the door and asked us when we will leave. like seriously ? ??? even it's the day to check out but we still had 2 hours in our hands and she already asked us to leave so that she could start cleaning ? ?!!!!! What was that ? ?? We paid for our stay. It wasn't free !! They could have called us to remind our check out time but they did this to us. I'm fully disappointed of their services. and even the city is not that updated. Everything is closed during the weekend and doesn't have so many activities to do. Fortunately it was a short trip so we returned early from that place and we will never visit that place and specially that hotel again...
Read moreMy recent stay at Novotel Grenoble Centre was largely positive. The hotel's strategic location next to the train station made our travels incredibly convenient. We found the rooms to be a bit dated, but they were generally clean and comfortable, offering a satisfactory level of comfort for our stay.
Although there was a minor hiccup upon our arrival as the kids' beds weren't made up, the hotel staff promptly addressed the issue and ensured everything was sorted out to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and willingness to assist left a positive impression.
Parking at the hotel's underground facility was practical, yet a bit limited. While we didn't personally encounter difficulties finding a spot, it's worth noting that latecomers might face some challenges due to the limited availability. This could potentially be a concern during busier times.
The hotel's standout feature remains its superb location. The proximity to the train station was a major plus, offering us easy access to transportation and reducing travel-related stress. This convenience significantly enhanced our overall experience.
In conclusion, our stay at Novotel Grenoble Centre was a good one. The convenient location, responsive staff, and comfortable albeit slightly dated rooms contributed to a pleasant experience. The minor issues we encountered were swiftly resolved. I would give this hotel a strong 4.5-star rating, considering its advantageous location and...
Read moreThe parking entrance is extremely hard to find if you have never been here. Pull over in front of the hotel and check with the front desk. They'll give you a map and an entrance ticket.
The parking space is shared by a lot of different business. Once you get into the parking space, you need to follow the Novotel sign faithfully to move yourself to the space near to the hotel elevator.
Every day, you need to get a new parking ticket from the front desk as the old one is returned to the machine once you exit the parking.
Staff here are friendly and willing to help. My shower room got flooded easily and it was fixed the very next day I raised this.
The heater in my room is broken. The staff gave me a mobile heater and it works pretty well.
Breakfast here is good with a lot of choices. But it is always the same throughout my 16 days of stay.
Novotel has no glass / Mug in the guest room. All you have are...
