I advise you to take seriously consideration of choosing this restaurant given my bad experience.
The waitress at this restaurant was discriminatory toward Asians and foreigners who donât speak French. When my daughter and I arrived at the restaurant and took a seat, the waitress came over to clean the table. Suddenly, she accused my daughter of taking a 2-euro coin that had been left by previous guests, claiming it was her tip.
Since she was speaking French, I didnât fully understand what she was saying at first. I kindly asked another table behind us what was going on, and they tried to explain her complaint to me.
I was shocked and upset. I told the waitress in English: âNo, young lady, my daughter did not steal your money. That coin was one I gave her to play with the Gacha machine next to this restaurant. The machine only accepts two 1-euro coins, not one 2-euro coin.â
But she didnât believe us.
I then went inside the restaurant (since our table was on the terrace) and asked to speak with the manager, who fortunately spoke English. I explained to him that this was not about the moneyâI asked him to check the security cameras and told him I was prepared to call the police to prove my daughterâs innocence.
I clearly told the manager two things: My daughter did not take the 2-euro coin from the table. The waitress needed to apologize to my daughter in front of the other guests.
After pressure from the manager, the waitress finally apologized to both my daughter and me in front of everyone.
This was a very upsetting experience. My daughter is only 13 years old, and the incident caused her emotional stress. However, it also taught her an important lesson: she must stand up...

L'entrĂ©e du menu (une douzaine de bulots dans un bol) arrive 25 min plus tard.... avant l'apĂ©ritif... Vers 13h15 - 13h20, les six plats et celui du menu arrivent. Nous rangeons les assiettes: Ă force d'attendre la prise de commande des desserts qui ne venait pas (celui du menu avait Ă©tĂ© commandĂ© plus d' 1h20 plus tĂŽt...), nous pensions attirer l'attention. RatĂ© ! AprĂšs avoir demandĂ© si on pouvait s'occuper de nous, une serveuse arrive pour la commande des six autres desserts. PremiĂšre phrase: " va falloir ĂȘtre patient, je suis seule" . Il me semblait pourtant que nous n'en avions pas manquĂ©e. Puis nous comprenons qu'il semble y avoir une certaine tension entre les personnels. Donc, vers 13h45 les desserts sont commandĂ©s. A 14h20, ne les voyant pas arrivĂ©s, on demande pour les annuler, pour rĂ©gler l'addition en dĂ©falquant le prix du fromage du menu qui n'a pas Ă©tĂ© servi. Ce qui semble un minimum. Quand mon Ă©pouse revient, il n'a pas Ă©tĂ© possible de dĂ©duire le prix du fromage car ils auraient comptĂ© le prix de l'entrĂ©e et du plat A LA CARTE! Comme geste commercial, on a vu mieux. Je vais donc au comptoir, rĂ©clamer le fromage payĂ© par la force des choses. Ătonnamment, celui-ci arrive dans la minute... AprĂšs avoir dĂ» subir la mauvaise foi de la patronne, on finit par me demander si je veux du pain. Je rĂ©ponds que je prĂ©fĂ©rerai avoir des couverts... Un restaurant piĂšge Ă touristes, oĂč aprĂšs avoir affichĂ© "complet" (mais acceptĂ© d'autres clients), puis "service terminer" (oui, tel quel) et encore acceptĂ© des clients, on comprend qu'il faut que ça tourne avec un minimum de personnel.Comme on peut souvent lire: A FUIR...
