We arrived at 1.30 and were told that we could only order a main and a dessert, because it was late for lunch. We were shown to a seat and ignored for 30 minutes. Not ignored really, both servers made regular eye contact and we even asked for a menu. The first server stood at the next table chatting for 15 minutes, the second studiously avoided walking past our table. When we eventually got the second server’s attention we were told that our table was reserved, and he could only get us a single dish from the menu and only if we moved seats, despite being told that service was nearly finished. It started well bringing out water for our dog, but after that it went downhill. The waiter - a young lanky chap was very abrupt, insisting we must order our dessert at the same time as ordering our starter...??? How do you know if you'll want one???

Starters were OK, but I'd say not home-made by them? Mains we had moule frites, the sauce was awful & incredibly salty. The waiter drops some shells down me, getting sauce on my trousers - not a word of an apology.

Dessert (trifle) was probably the best course.

Then the bill - I questioned the amount asking for a breakdown - 'NO, not until you've paid'?! You what??? 'Well, I won't pay then' I said - he soon manages to print a bl**dy receipt!

I could not believe the other reviews after having dinner at this place myself. The starter of me and my partner did not taste well and not restaurant worthy at all. The only star is for the mussels that tasted well but that was the only thing. We also ordered a cheese plate as dessert but instead we got salad with some pieces of cheese in it..
