Unfriendly for children. Do not go there with small kids. We were the only people sitting inside, because outside was “fully booked”, they claimed. We could not sit at a table next to a window on a hot day in July, because the table was meant for 6 people and our family was only 5 people. And there was not even anyone except us sitting inside. Although we asked the manager to warm a pot of babyfood, we left before before ordering because of the unfriendly and arrogant staff. Too bad, the menu looked great. Sarah Ticot (responsible for the seating in the restaurant) told is that our sweet baby boy of only 15 months (!) old was not well educated! The reason? He had touched the plasticised (!) menus lying on our table with his little hands. I can guarantee that we have never been treated like this before. I hope young families do not have to experience something like we did. A pity, because the restaurant is located nearby a playground.

Sea view is very nice. Food was good, nothing extraordinary but price was raisonable. Had tarama has a starter, tagliata of beef and seabass with vegetables and caramel fondant to end. Tagliata of beef was probably the best dish, the balsamic dressing was very good. Seabass was quite simple/olive oil over fish. Caramel fondant was nice but would have hoped for bigger cake.. service was ok, a bit slow and not really attentive...

J’y ai travaillé 2 semaines un été en tant que serveuse pour un job étudiant. J’ai rompu le contrat car la gérante était méchante et malveillante. J’habitais à La Rochelle, il fallait passer le pont de l’île de Ré (16€ en haute saison, mais en tant que saisonnier on a le droit à un passage gratuit par jour), ce qui m’obligeait à rester sur place entre le service du midi et le service du soir. Certains soirs, jugeant que la fréquentation du restaurant n’était pas satisfaisante, elle me renvoyait chez moi au bout d’1h de service, n’empochant à l’époque que le misérable salaire de 7€ net par heure, au lieu de renvoyer une autre des serveuses qui habitait sur l’île… Lorsque il a fallu qu’elle me paye mes 2 semaines de travail malgré une rupture anticipée (pour mauvaises conditions de travail), elle n’a pas hésité à essayer de m’extirper 250€ en supprimant les heures supp. Pour les pourboires collectés dans un pot commun, je n’en ai pas vu la couleur, « tu nous as lâchée en pleine saison, tu ne mérites aucun pourboire. » À l’époque je n’avais pas l’aplomb suffisant pour réagir, c’est pour cela que je reviens 6 ans après… il n’y a pas de prescription pour dénoncer ce genre de comportement.
