La Pignata — Restaurant in Langres

Usually the service here is slow but amiable. However tonight I ordered a bottle of Chinon which turned out to be corked. I KNOW CHINON. I KNOW WHEN WINE IS CORKED!!! When I complained they refused to change it, but decanted it. It was still bad and again they refused to do anything about it. So after we had eaten the meal I said that I was not paying for the wine. They said that because it had been ordered I had to pay. At that point I told them to call the police and was not going to budge. Eventually the owner who told them to take the cost off the bill, which they did begrudgingly. So, moral of the story - stand your ground against people like this who will try to convince you that they are right and you are wrong. Oh yes, do nit give your custom to this...

Very rude service! Trust me and choose another restaurant in order to have a pleasant meal. We waited 1.5h for the food (only ordered a pizza and another dish). It was not until we went to pay until they told us, very rudely, that that was normal. Well, they could have told us before when ordering. We have a little girl that obviously doesn't have the patience to wait 1.5h for her food. When we went to pay the woman at the counter was very rude. We told her that we asked for a bottle of water which is normally for free, and they charged us almost 5 euros for a bottle. We told her and again, a very rude reply. I don't recommend this place at all and trust me, I'm not a picky person. There are plenty of other nice and friendly restaurants where...

The food was in totally very bad! My wife ordered pizza's for herself and our twins where the plate and the pizza itself was covered with flower so you had the taste of flower in your mouth. The poched eggs of my father in law were uneatable en very much sour. He did not eat a bite of his dish. The pasta was eatable but the sauce had no flavour. When we took of we discussed it with the owners but they did not saw anything wrong. When taking off we saw another couple who did not touch there pizza and gave the plate back.
