Here’s the deal, this restaurant is very well run. The service is 5 star, the atmosphere is 5 star.

The wine offerings were on point and fairly priced.

The problem is the food. While very fresh overall, the food lacked love, inspiration, salt and flavor.

This was not the food of a renowned chef you’d expect in this establishment, compared to other top rated restaurants I tried in the area.

The bland food really ruined the experience and I suspect the main chef was not cooking the night I came which is truly a shame.

Apres plusieurs recommandations, nous décidons de partager un dîner à l'escale. Malheureusement, mauvaise surprise, 45 min à attendre une entrée (ravioles de légumes, fromage et bouillon clair) qui etait très peu assaisonnée. Puis, 45 min apres, nous avons eu nos deux plats. Le loup des caraïbes, qui etait bon avec son risotto mais qui manquait de saveur, de sel, comme l'entrée. En revanche, la volaille lardée façon tournedos etait bonne. Au moment de régler, on nous demande si tout c'était bien passé. Nous expliquons le manque de saveur, assaisonnement des plats et surtout l'attente anormalement longue. Nous avons eu comme explication qu'il manquait une personne en cuisine et que le chef s'était coupé. Nous trouvons ca dommage que dès notre arrivée cela n'ait pas été signalé.
