Le Barracuda — Restaurant in Le Marin

Unfortunately we came across this disgusting bar/restaurant during our visit to Anse Mitan. When we first arrived, the restaurant was divided into two, the tables higher up and in front of the bar were prepared for lunch, the lower part on the left was reserved only for those who wanted to buy drinks. Since it was still morning and around 11 am, we sat in the 'DRINK' section and ordered our beers/cocktails/wines and etc.. Almost everyone who escaped from the rain with us did the same thing. An hour or so passed, meanwhile, as the weather was a little better, some of the group went swimming, we were waiting for them to finish our drinks and decide what to do. As they said to us, that was not the LUNCH part, ONLY DRINK SECTION !!!! Suddenly a woman employee appeared next to us, bringing a couple with her, she took the backpacks of our friends who were swimming, threw them on the ground and made this couple sit on the chairs she emptied, before we could even understand what she was doing, she kicked us out of there, saying in french ''Enough, go away, it is lunch time !!!!!!!!!!'' EVERYONE WHO WAS DRINKING LIKE US GOT A LITTLE SHOCK !!!!!!!!!! Now I want to ask something to this restaurant : did someone come to our table and ask if we wanted lunch ? Since it was lunch time we would probably eat there but after this behavior, it was impossible for us to stay there one more minute. Meanwhile no other employee stopped this woman asking what she was doing to the customer !!!!!!!!!! THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER MET IN MY...

Catastrophique.

5 serveurs en service. Et pourtant nous avons attendus pour être installés, attendu pour avoir les menus. Attendus pour la carafe d'eau et je ne vous parle pas du service.

Quand nous avons eu le malheur de demander poliment où en étaient les plats après une attente de 45mn, le serveur nous a répondu très désagréablement qu'il fallait attendre, ne pas être impatients et que c'est comme ça aux antilles...

Quand je lui ai fait remarqué qu'il s'était trompé sur mon plat et que j'avais demandé frites ET riz, il n'était pas du tout content. Très agressif :)

Les plats étaient dégoûtants. Passez votre chemin. Le poulet boucané est fade, le riz est sec et sans aucun goût, les frites pareil. Le poulpe et le crabe sont hyper caoutchouteux, le boudin n'est pas bon enfin bref je n'arrive pas à comprendre comment c'est possible de rater autant de chose. Nous sommes pourtant des clients faciles. La boule de glace au chocolat était bonne lol

J'ai dû demander du ketchup, attendre 30mn, le redemander puis attendre 20 autres minutes avant qu'on me l'amene.

Une famille instalée à côté de nous a fini par s'en aller tellement l'attente était longue. Un autre groupe discutait d'à quel point les serveurs étaient irrespectueux.

Du jamais vu. Ma grand mère, une dame âgée, a été au comptoir payé l'addition. Heureusement qu'elle a encore toute sa tête puisque la dame du comptoir a insisté de longs instant en lui disant qu'il manquait 10 euros avant de recompter devant elle et de s'apercevoir que ce n'était pas le cas. Malhonnête quand on sait que nous avons mangés à 5 pour environ 100 euros.

D'ailleurs il parait que c'est au client de refaire son addition lui même. Au comptoir on nous a demandé où était notre table, puis ce que nous avions mangés.

Gros manque d'organisation en service. Gros manque de professionnalisme (irrespect carrément) et gros manque de savoir faire en cuisine. Heureusement que le...

Rude waitress, older lady with short hair. When I told her I only wanted to have a drink she wanted me to move to another place eventhought the restaurant was half empty. When I gave her 50€ to pay for my beer she continued to rumble something in French and rolled her eyes. I guess she wanted small money. She served by beer without saying anything. Just bad service.
