I am completely shocked by the positive reviews, we had an awful experience. We had 50 minutes to spare before our boat ride back, so took a seat at La Marine for a drink. 50 minutes should be plenty of time for a drink. After 20 minutes of waiting, we thought perhaps we could order at the bar. No, table service only (strange as we had already waited so long). The lady brought us over a couple of menus and then disappeared. Various waiters looked over with no attempt to serve. 2 other tables got up and left due to the same problem - only people sat on inner tables eating food were served. We finally got her attention to order the drinks, then sat and waited another 10-15 minutes. No apology, no acknowledgement. In the end, we got up and left. 40 mins of our life we won’t...

Where to start.... My wife chose a menu for 36 euros with tomate with mozzarella served with anchovies (what???) Onions (re-what???) and the most tasteless industrial mini-bites of mozarella I have ever tried. Fish was ok although dry. My starter, supposedly a tahiti style ceviche would have shamed any Tahitian, even though the fish was fresh it was tasteless and sad. Overall a very disappointing experience and the poor waiters, however friendly and caring cannot compensate. Get to work people because your location is fantastic and you are wasting it. Had food here this evening. Thought I couldn’t go wrong with a chicken Caesar! I was served 3 large Luke warm chicken nuggets with a warm salad which not only was very scarce but devoid of taste. A few cold attempts at croutons, a Caesar salad dressing which was clearly a bought budget version and 2 halves of an egg which had been cooked a while and for the bargain price of 16 euro. Absolute joke. Great if you like cigarette smoke though, the punters are happy to smoke next to you and share there...
