At our summer vacation we were here two times. It is a nice atmospheric restaurant next to the beach so you have a wonderful view at the ocean.
They have some menues which are really priceworthy. The dishes have a good quality but its nothin special. I had a menue with a "salade du chevre chaud" (salad with hot goat cheese) which was very good, but was only a fairly small portion. The main course was "moules frite" (clams with chips). The amount of clams were good and the chips were really tasty and crispy. As the desert I've chosen "mousse au chocolat". Nothing special about that but ok. The second time we were here I had the shrimps as starter. It is nothing wrong about them here, but I find it unusual that they are really cold like they come from the refrigerator. The main couse was a fish: Merlu (european hake) filet with rice and season-vegetables. Very good and cooked precisely.
My girlfriend had both times we were here the "faux filet". Normally she does not eat a lot of beef but this time she loved it. When you order it "bien cuit" it is still a little bit rose-red - perfect!

Went out of their way to ignore a table of 3 The hostess spoke perfect English until we asked how to order coffee after being ignored by the waiter/server for 15 minutes. I stopped the waiter to order and he have the generic 1 minute sign. He came back after a minute and took care of 2 tables that had just sat after walking in from the beach. The reason I gave the atmosphere 2 stars was for the view of the beach. After switching to French she told us if you don’t like it then leave. We were already leaving. The tables were dirty. I understand that when a cruise ship docks it gets busy, but when you do business based upon the transient trade at least have good service when you’re rude. FYI. My wife speaks French and Spanish. J'ai bien compris l'explication du serveur, explication à laquelle je crois mais il y en avait tellement que c'était impossible de finir le plat pour moi et mon compagnon.
On me propose donc un autre plat, je dis ok! On m'apporte la carte, je demande (sait-on jamais) confirmation que ce plat ne me sera pas facturé, le serveur me répond comme si c'était un cadeau alors qu'il me paraît evident qu'il y a un quelconque (je dis bien quelconque) geste a faire : "allez! on peut echanger votre plat de moules, celui-ci ne vous sera pas facturé!". Réponse plus que douteuse.
Au final j'ai payé 12 huîtres à 15euros au lieu des moules à 13euros. Et mon compagnon a payé ses moules plein pot (qu'il n'a pu finir car dégoût car quasiment toutes les moules contenaient des "bébés" crabes). On en sort avec presque 50 euros dans le vide. Aucun geste, aucune ristourne. RIEN.
Les serveurs paraîssent sympathiques en face mais de même petit doute...
