I made an online reservation for the first available time slot (19:00) for me, my wife and for my two kids. Then I called them by phone beforehand to ask if it is possible to arrive a bit early. The man in charge said "sure, 30 min. before is indeed ok!". We arrived there at 18:30, but we needed to wait until 19:00 at the table anyway, because they said the kitchen will not open till then. We did not react even a bit, and assumed that a mis-communication happened. Then at 19:00 we ordered three burgers by explicitly underlining that we do not want any bacon in them and we asked for "well-done" cooked burgers. First they brought the burgers with bacon in them. We mentioned we asked them without bacon, and they just told us we can take the bacons out by ourselves and weirdly they left on of the dishes at the table and took the others to remove the bacons. When they brought them back to our table in 1 min., we still kept our silence and immediately checked the burgers and they were all juicy red "rare" cooked. Then we finally said we can not accept these burgers and asked them to replace the dishes. The lady immediately started trying to convince us that the burgers can not be cooked "well-done" and this is the "classic" way that they cook them. And then she rolled her eyes towards her colleagues by implying that we are being the problematic side! Then I immediately said to the man in charge that this is unacceptable and I said I will pay for the drinks and leave. He brought the check and received his 19 Euros for the drinks. When we left the place, we were very hungry and very disappointed. After an hour of search to find any available decent restaurant, we ended up at the supermarket and made some sandwiches for the kids. This was the most terrible experience for me and my family that we ever...

Voilà une merveilleuse découverte : Dans un petit bistrot ouvert après une jolie rénovation en février dernier nous découvrons un accueil aussi sympathique que spontané. Après le choix d’une table( toutes sont accueillantes , même sur la mezzanine) nous découvrons sur une vraie carte ( et non pas sur nos sacro-saints portables via un QR code tellement impersonnel ) un choix bien équilibré , bien construit juste assez varié mais sans s’y perdre . Un des propriétaires vient rapidement vous parler du plat du jour ( non inscrit sur la carte ) de façon très alléchante sans emphase , avec des mots précis mais simples Une autre personne vraisemblablement associée dans ce restaurant vient vous conseiller pour les vins : là encore petit choix mais recouvrant tous les grands terroirs de notre beau pays . Le choix est difficile mais une fois fait le service est rapide . Les plats sont à chaque fois une magnifique surprise : produits frais certes mais surtout une grande subtilité et un équilibre parfait . Pas de superflu , pas de chichi mais une présentation très raffinée et une quantité bien vue . Les desserts sont d’une exceptionnelle finesse , sans être comme trop souvent trop sucrés , des associations originales mais qui tiennent parfaitement la route , des saveurs fraîches et légères , une ravissante présentation . Là chef pâtissière passionnée par ses créations vient vous en parler avec une modestie qui l’honore . Un effort reste à faire sur le café pas assez corsé à notre goût . Le vin blanc aux équilibres originaux fut en parfaite harmonie avec nos plats .

Bref , une des meilleures adresses de Lille ( et je pèse mes mots ) un rapport qualité prix très satisfaisant,

Dans ce créneau de restaurant , difficile de trouver mieux car chez «  Ô Cercle «  la gastronomie est au rendez vous …..précipitez vous sur votre téléphone pour...

We ordered a hummus, a salad and 2 beef filets, the tastiest was the bread for the hummus. The salad was big but it didn’t had many ingredients, too much of the same. In was supposed to come with a raspberry vinaigrette and it had none. And too little duck. Not really enjoyable. Then one of the fillets was big and another really small. Not what we were expecting after reading the reviews for this place. The dessert was ok. We didn’t felt really happy paying what we payed for the food...
