La Nouvelle Aventure — Restaurant in Lille

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with this place. Maybe it was because of the odd hour we were here (Sunday afternoon). We said that we wanted to eat and we were assigned a table. We got our drinks, a good wine and a good beer. When we were enjoying our drinks, we were told that the kitchen was closed (why not told us when we entered??) and we could get a cheese and charcuterie plate. We agreed, but this also was a bit disappointing. I expected a nice french cheese, but it was a kind...

Cuisine: 7/10 The goat cheese salad is very good, the vegetable pie is excellent. The carbonara is disappointing, it tastes more like a bœuf bourguignon, the pork is not bad, but the sauce is too watery.
