Los 3 compadres — Restaurant in Lille

My partner and I came here a couple of nights ago, whilst we were travelling from the UK. The owner was very kind to us, and managed to fit us in, despite the restaurant being busy. It was very lucky for us that he did, as we had some amazing food.

My partner had cochinita pibil (pork with achiote and orange), which came with beautiful freshly made corn tortilla. I had enchiladas de pollo.

The presentation, taste and service were incredible. Not only were we served quickly and generously, but the food was some of the best Mexican dishes we have eaten anywhere in the world. We go to many restaurants which serve similar items, but Los 3 Compadres has achieved something special, food that tastes like it was made for the family. The salsa Verde was perfect, the chicken was tender and delicious. The fresh corn tortillas were also incredible.

We had an amazing evening, and I'd recommend anyone visiting Lille to book in for an evening, as you'll have some wonderful food in a lovely setting.

Nous avons mangé récemment dans ce restaurant. Trouvé via internet car nous voulions manger mexicain. Nous avons dégusté une entrée pour 2 (guacamole totopos), très fraiche et juste délicieuse. Une portion parfaite pour 2 et largement suffisante si prise pour 1 personne. En plat on a prit des burritos au boeuf et une spécialité Azteques (Mole). Les burritos étaient chauds et bien garnis. Accompagnés de salade, de riz et d'une purée d'haricots noirs (cette purée était particulièrement bonne et très bourrative). Le Mole est un plat sucré salé et pour quelqu'un qui mange épicé très bien dosé. Pour ceux ou celles qui ne mangent pas épicé il vaut mieux demander au serveur afin d'avoir un adaptation. Le serveur justement était très aimable et à l'écoute. Il nous a fait goûté la sauce avec des tortillas avant que je ne commande le Mole. Afin de savoir si ce n'était pas trop épicé à mon goût (n'hésitez pas à demander de votre côté). L'ambiance était telle qu'on s'y croyait presque. Pour ceux/celles qui ont la référence on aurait dit "Better call saul". En conclusion, restaurant avec une bonne cuisine, portions très correctes et vaut le prix indiqué.
