GRILL' INN — Restaurant in Limoges

Very disappointed with the treatment at this restaurant. Came in with friends and my mother who did not eat because she’s a picky eater but still wanted to enjoy a night out with us. We explain this to the waiter who looks at us weird but we shrug it off. Once we’ve started eating, with the exception of my mother, an aggressive waiter comes in and places a fork and table mat in front of my mother demanding that she pay because she saw her eating. My mother was chewing a piece of gum. The waiter then brings in a hostile security guard who berates my mother in front of everyone. I then explain this to the waitress that my mother was just chewing gum and that the way she went about the situation was uncalled for but she blatantly lies to my face and insists that she saw us bringing food for my mother and proceeds to ignore me. No accountability, no class, no apologies, just fabricated lies and probably preconceived notions based on our skin color because ironically, the daughter of the family who sat right beside us did not eat as well however, did not receive such treatment. Grill’inn is an okay experience if you’re looking for a bite to eat in the evening, but nothing more.

There is a lot of variety at this buffet, which is where the main positive lies. However, in terms of quality, in comparison to other buffets, this one misses the mark a bit. Quite a lot of the food was lukewarm and some lacking quite a bit of seasoning. I went to the grill section to get a steak cooked for me though, and that was absolutely delicious.

The tables are also really close together to maximise profits - so close that it affects the experience.

This is a brilliant place. The selection of food here is brilliant and is always fresh. From incredible steaks to, fish, seafood, sushi, pasta and wok dishes there is an endless offering of different cuisines available. There isn’t much interaction with the staff but what there was, was brilliant. The bonus is there is a robot cat that will deliver your drinks to your table.
