Amazing. Great service, didn't have to wait long to take the order, between courses or clearing the plates.

The food was excellent. I had the Ravioles de langoustine and honestly from first taste that "cappuccino" was heavenly. Flavourful (really strong in flavour) and high expectations set for the rest of the courses.

Then the blanquette de la mer, well cooked, and an amazing sauce. The only question was the tomato that gave colour to the dish, but when cut into, the juices "watered down" the sauce. The truffle potatoes, smelt and tastes strong.

Lastly, the profiteroles were crispy all round (how?!), Even with ice-cream and chocolate poured over it. The most surprising were the two "blobs" which weren't the usually Chantilly cream, but a thicker cream... reminding me of Panna cotta or the part under the burnt sugar of a creme brûlée.

I'd come...

Le Bouche à Oreille in Cabourg, France, is a nice little gem that offers a delightful dining experience. Located in the heart of the town, the restaurant combines a cozy atmosphere with a menu that highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The dishes are beautifully presented, with a focus on traditional French cuisine elevated by modern touches. The seafood options, in particular, stand out for their freshness and flavor. Unfortunately, my sole was a little overcooked and dry, but otherwise good flavor. My wife's St Pierre was tasty. The service was attentive and we felt well cared for. Overall, Le Bouche à Oreille is a good...

Very good restaurant with quick service, an interesting menu and good food. My only complaint is the lack of salt in the cooking… everything would have just ‘popped’ more. I.e. had the tomato with burrata, but not a speck of salt - tomatos need it. Same with the large wedge potatos that came with the faux filet - never seen them cooked that way and were really interesting, but kinda bland without salt. At least if the chef doesnt want to cook with salt, then i’d suggest just putting a salt and petter shaker on the table.
