La Charbonette — Restaurant in Loches

We hoped to have a quick bite after a pleasant day at the castle of Chenonceau. We didn't make a reservation but were offered a table by a friendly lady. After a few minutes we received the menu with some exceptions that they couldn't cook today. In total there weren't more than 15 other customers. A young couple arrived 5 minutes later. Then another 15 minutes later nobody even bothered to ask what we wanted to drink. When the lady who appointed us to our table first went to the young couple next to us, after we were already waiting for 20 minutes, we decided to leave. Very sad to see all the other negative reviews confirmed. Staff already seemed overwhelmed with only 15 customers at the beginning of the night, the 2 pizzas we saw being served on another table were burned to a crisp on the bottom and the waiter doesn't know how to use a plateau so he could carry more than 2 plates or 2 drinks at a time. I really hope they improve their service quickly to be able to survive...

Wir kamen gegen 20:45 Uhr ins Restaurant, um 4 Pizzen mitzunehmen. Es waren einige Tische frei, uns wurde aber leider die Bestellung verwehrt, weil zu viel zu tun sei. Kein takeaway. Ich fragte, ob es denn möglich sei am Tisch zu essen. Ja, das sei kein Problem. Als ich fragte, warum sie dann die Pizza, statt auf einen Teller nicht in einen Karton tun, wusste die Bedienung nicht weiter und musste dann den Pizzabeleger um Rat fragen. Der wollte wohl nicht mehr so recht und sagte dann nein. Am Tisch hätten wir aber Essen können. Was für eine schwache Vorstellung und ein entgangenes Geschäft. Von der Frechheit mal ganz abgesehen. Dann gebe ich mein Geld halt woanders aus.

Nous sommes venus au restaurant vers 20h45 pour prendre 4 pizzas. Il y avait quelques tables libres, mais malheureusement, notre commande nous a été refusée car il y avait trop de monde. Pas de plats à emporter. J'ai demandé s'il était possible de manger à table. Oui, ce n'est pas un problème. Quand j'ai demandé pourquoi ils n'avaient pas mis la pizza dans une boîte plutôt que dans une assiette, le serveur ne savait pas quoi faire et a ensuite dû demander conseil au pizzaiolo. Il n'en avait probablement plus vraiment envie et a ensuite dit non. Mais nous aurions pu manger à table. Quelle mauvaise performance et perte d'activité. Tout à fait à part la joue. Ensuite, je dépenserai mon argent...

These people are slow, inconsiderate, and make bad food. I got there, and over 45 minutes later I got a pizza that was burnt on the crusts and had a bad taste. I understand that you were under staffed so I guess slow service was going to happen, should have gone to the place down the road from you with nicer people, faster service and a quiet environment, unlike you're place with loud obnoxious...
