MAISON LAMOTTE — Restaurant in Loches

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Lady serving was rude, cheap and dishonest. She tried to make my pay 10 cents for an extra small paper bag, when she stuffed 4 items including a quiche into 2 small paper bags. I agreed and wanted to pay with my card as I had no coins, and she charged me the full amount again.

When I noticed and pointed this out to her, she did not even apologize or show any remorse, and instead tried to throw it on me saying I put my card in front of her so she thought I hadn’t paid yet and that she wouldn’t take 10cents from a card.

I live in Paris and speak fluent French so there was no miscommunication and this was clearly spiteful and malicious behavior that ruined my and my family’s morning.

The patisseries were not bad though. Shame to be negated by such terrible attitude...

Questa bulangerie, si trovava nell’immediata vicinanze della nostra abitazione, proprio a ridosso del ponte che attraversa la Loira per andare nel centro del paese Amboise. Proprio nei pressi del Ponte una piccola chiesa con davanti delle panchine in pietra dove sedersi ed assaporare le brioche ed il pan au chocolate sorseggiando un caffè di fronte al panorama della Loira.
