Une magnifique visite de la chapelle Saint-Hubert, situé dans l’enceinte du château royal d’Amboise . Avec un panorama extraordinaire, une vue magnifique surplombant la ville authentique de Amboise.

Léonard va résider durant les trois dernières années de sa vie au Manoir du Clos Lucé, à quelques encablures du château royal d’Amboise. Je vous recommande la visite de celui-ci également.

Si les archives sont imprécises, on sait de manière qu’il jouera un rôle central dans l’organisation logistique des grandes cérémonies organisées au château, au printemps 1518. Ses talents de « metteur en fête » sont mis à contribution à ces occasions pour la création de décors monumentaux et la conception des effets spéciaux.

Au crépuscule de sa vie, Léonard de Vinci rédige un testament dans lequel il exprime sa volonté d’être inhumé au château d’Amboise.
