Les Platanes — Restaurant in Lodève

Walk around town, looking for a Beer and maybe something to eat. A lot of very expensive Bars and Restaurant around the Station. Decided to go for a Beer. We ended up at Les Platanes. My Husband went into the Bar, as they looked very busy to order a Beer. When he came out, said it looks very nice and it was aired condition. So went in, it was tastefully decorated and they had a Menu du Jour €15.50. it looked nice. 2 Starters and 3mains. What a lovely surprise, we both had the Pork chop and we asked if my Husband, could have chips. No problem, even a cheeseboard. My first time to have lunch in this restaurant since the reviews were good and a rating of 4.6. My husband and I ordered the menu du jour for 15.60€. It was worth it. For entrée, we had the plate of charcuterie and herring fish with salad. But waiting for the entrée took almost 25mins. since it was the peak of lunch time, however, our main course came in just less than 5mins. It was a huge portion as well. Étant de passage sur Clermont l Hérault, je suis tombée sur cette brasserie et vu les bons avis, j ai réservé pour 13h. Sauf que, la carte nous a été amenée, mais ensuite, plus rien! Le monsieur est passé plusieurs fois à côté de nous, a monté une table devant nous ( les clients étaient au bar), il leur a amené leur assiette repas, et à chaque passage, il détournait la tête pour ne pas avoir affaire à notre regard. Au bout de 25 minutes, on attendait encore qu on nous prenne commande. Je peux comprendre un moment de bourre, un manque de personnel.
