Brasserie de l'Académie — Restaurant in Mâcon

Two of us visited on Tuesday 28th January.

Great value, great good and very professional and attentive service. 3 courses for €20 on their set menu. Tasty, good value food( salad paysane, hake main course, chocolate pudding. Decent wine for €26, other wines were cheaper. A good welcome on arrival, 3 different people acknowledged us. We were the first people in but it soon filled up. Food was about what I'd expect for the price - not bad but not great either. I'd be ok with things otherwise but the service was verging on appalling. From what I can tell it seemed to be our particular waitress, but after sitting through an evening of terrible service I wasn't impressed to wait 20 mins for the bill and an extra 10 to actually pay....

Difficile. Je n ai pas vraiment pu goûter la cuisine. Je commande un œuf meurette (pour lequel j avait choisi ce restaurant) il manquait un ingrédient ! !! Échalote, lardons, vin rouge et œuf.. l un manque!! Dans un restaurant qui le met à la carte. Le reste une ambiance détestable ! 2 jeunes femmes un peu eméchees et un enfant dont c est l anniversaire.. l enfant tape sur la table hurle ..avec des cris. Les femmes parlent fort. Toute la salle se plaint environ 15 personnes. Le patron ne bouge pas. Qui est responsable de l ambiance d un restaurant ? J ai assisté il y a qq années a une scène identique a Paris.
