Art café — Restaurant in Marseille

This cafe is truly a special place. My favourite spot in all of Marseille, and one of my favourites in all of Europe! We just felt at home here! The owners are so kind and hospitable, and they have the most delicious cakes I have ever had!

We tried the pistachio, walnut, and the apple cake, and all of them were fantastic. The pistache in particular was just MAGICAL. I already want more!

This little café is a true gem. Right when me and my girlfriend entered we felt as if we stumbled into someone's living room. Even though we only ordered a coffee, tea and chocolate drink (which were all amazing), the owner couldn't help himself and let us try a small piece of his signature pistachio cake. But not just that with the drinks came a lot of small sides like cookies, fruits and nuts. We specifically wanted to visit this Art Cafe after reading such good reviews and we were not disappointed. The owner and his brother were extremely welcoming. We only went in for a snack but ended up eating a complete 4 course dinner. Everything was homemade and tasted delicious and was served on beautiful crockery of all sorts. The mint tea was refreshing. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well fed in our experience. We also got to visit the gallery next door.
