Le Panificateur, Maître Artisan Boulanger — Restaurant in Marseille

I went to this Boulangerie because I have seen so many positive reviews (4.1) but honestly it is the worst boulangerie I have ever tried in my life, I don’t know how it can be rated so well. The supermarket it has definitely a better quality then this boulangerie. I paid 9€ for the Pain of chocolat dry without any layers and without chocolate , without any taste , and the cinnamon roll ( please do not call it cinnamon roll ) it doesn’t taste even a bit like that , there’s no cinnamon , so sweetness and no softness. The first and the last time i come to your Boulangerie , sadly because it’s located in a beautiful area . I recommend for the tourist who come to visit Marseille to know try this experience you will be sadly disappointed, there are so many little boulangerie that...

Walking in there was rubbish stacked up on the bins. My French is poor but I tried my best to politely order a couple of pastries and coffees. The lady served us with an unwelcoming look and begrudgingly took our order. I can understand why she might be unpleasant to us and our poor language skills but she was unwelcoming to the locals too. The coffees were watery milk and the pastries were ok. We tried to not look at the floors which were built up food and black grime so we sat outside on a table beside a bin. Was tempted by the Google high ratings and reviews but wouldn’t go again or recommend. I hate to leave a bad review but the whole experience...

Mon avis a beaucoup changé sur cette boulangerie : L'accueil et l'ambiance se sont beaucoup dégradés ! Les prix n'ont fait qu'augmenter bien au delà de l'inflation (...) on se croirait à St Victor ... lol Plus d'un an après, toujours pas de trancheuse à pain (...) Lorsqu'on appelle pour demander un responsable, il y en n'a jamais ! (...)

D'accord, leurs pains sont toujours bons mais vu les prix, l'ambiance et l'accueil, je préfère me rendre à quelques stations de tram, pour des commandes de pains spéciaux à des prix raisonnables et où il y a bon accueil.

Le comble : commandé deux galettes qui se sont retrouvées sans fève !! Alors qu'à l'intérieur de la boite à galette, ils se vantent de leurs fèves (sic) J'admets, néanmoins que cela peut arriver.

Dommage, mais je n'y remettrai plus les pieds.

Très partagé au début, ils s'améliorent de jour en jour. Il est vrais que leurs viennoiseries manquent souvent de cuisson ! dommage car j'y vais de moins en moins pour ça. Par contre leurs pains sont vraiment bons, un peu plus chers mais excellents. Un seul bémol et pas le moindre, ils n'ont toujours pas de trancheuse à pains.... c'est un comble pour une boulangerie ! 5/5 pour l'accueil et la sympathie du personnel,...
