One of the worst meals of my life! This was a 90 € valentine prix fix menu and a complete sham! No amuse bouche but a bizzare cocktail of a vinegar eau de vie (maybe found in a grandfathers attic) and Prosecco…un drinkable! The starter was a tiny meager mix of scallops pieces (not one whole) and some odd pickled vegetables….there was a sliced truffle on top which was odd and maybe a way to make the dish seem fancy. Next was an odd flavor-less pancake made with some sort of un-identifiable greens and an also flavorless creme sauce….it was reminiscent of something I ate at an ashram in India when on a cleanse. There were then 2 tiny fish courses one was a millet a bit edible but the bulk of the plate was sauerkraut (not very elegant for this price or occasion) and next a peice of ahi sashimi that was sadly adulterated with layers of industrial smoked tofu and a horrible sauce….inedible!! The desert (a semifredo) was good. The waiters were running around like chickens with their heads cut off and the wine options impossible. Upon paying the bill I was relating my experience and confusion by the meal (when asked) the chef appeared and started screaming at me!! I was mortified that I had asked my husband to try this restaurant. It seems to be a young hipsters chef passing off inexpensive tasteless dishes as ...

Yes, huge gratitude from the heart to amazing Chef David Mijoba, his wife Axelle, their incredible team with Lucien, Albano and others whose names we can’t remember. It was my friend Gianluca’s birthday and in the midst of a torrential rain, we arrived at Mijoba Restaurant to find that it was completely flooded with water and several staff members were vigorously pushing the water out from the back to the front door and continued for over an hour. We were kindly told that they could not serve us. However, despite that tragic situation, hearing about the birthday, with growing amazement on our part, we were first offered a glass of excellent white wine for a toast and then, one after another, a carefully prepared flavoursome scented rice roll with vegetables, very creative unique baked ravioli with Italian ricotta and a fresh tomato mirepoix and finally a mini birthday cake with mouthwatering pastafrolla, crème Chantilly and a coulis of red wine must. They continued to work hard while we ecstatically enjoyed that divine meal at the lively uplifting rhythm of Senor Coconut!
We thank marvelous David Mijoba, his wife Axelle and harmonious team from the heart, their incredible human quality and generosity transformed a dire situation into a joyous dream...
Read moreI visited here for dinner with a friend and she made the reservation but forgot to say that I require vegan food. When we arrived we asked the server if they would be able to cater for me, he was extremely helpful and polite and checked with the kitchen. Luckily the chefs said they could adjust their 5 course set menu to be vegan!
Every course was delicious and I appreciate the chefs being able to freestyle, it shows true creativity within the kitchen. The set menu for 5 course was €58, which I thought was appropriate for the food provided as it was high quality and all organic.
I would recommend coming here! But I would advise to call in advance to let them know of any allergies or dietary requirements so they can...
