For a very well reviewed pizzeria, the customer service is simply awful. We called them during the day to reserve a table but they were fully booked so we decided to go and order take away. Went there and found out they do not accept cash (cheapest pizza €14!) fine yet somewhat incredible in this day and age. You would think we could just order the pizza, go and get the cash from a nearby atm and then pick the pizzas up - like any other pizzeria... However, we were told that they were very busy and we could only order the pizzas after 45 minutes - the place was far from packed and noone waiting for a takeaway. If you can’t manage to book a table, don’t waste your time for a takeaway. Being Italian I found the whole situation embarrassing for them.

I asked the waiter to bring me a glass of wine and their best pizza. He recommended their namesake "La Bonne Mere". I was sincerely tried to figure out what the best thing about it was, or at least the good. I had just enough of one slice. To me, it was just a "flattened bread" smeared with tomato sauce and flavored with some cheese. It was radically tasteless and senseless.
This kind of cooking belongs in the garbage bin. Those who invented it, prepared it, called it "the best", served it, and allowed themselves to charge for it (I mean the entire restaurant team) would be better off finding themselves on the unemployment exchange.

Only one choice lambrusco instead 4/5 We had our pizza, we paid and to be honest was really frustrated to heard the waiters chatting to each other said that we didn't left any tips 😅. After that service ??? 👎🏼 Cash only they said straight away when we booked the table by the phone, already sais a lot of things.😅😅😅 Never will come back to this place.
