Restaurant Wafu — Restaurant in Melun

My parents and I always go here for special occasions. We've been loyal customers for about 10 years or so now. On my birthday, they prepared an ice cream and profiteroles cake as a free surprise! The fish is always fresh, guaranteed. The staff are very friendly and the food is prepared quickly. Everything is made on the spot, from dumplings to tempura to Maki rolls and sashimi. They also serve beef gyudon, bo bun, and other bowl meals. The amounts are copious and the taste is great. One of the best sushi places around...

Perfectly mediocre, the total standard fare you will find all across France, the exact same Japanese menu/recipe model duplicated a thousand times by the Chinese community here using the lowest quality ingredients they can muster.

I would tell you to stay away and go elsewhere, but...there are usually no suitable alternatives outside of major cities. This is unfortunately (mostly) what you get in France when you're in the mood...

Aucune organisation, aucun respect !

Nous avons appelé à 12h00 pour commander nos repas à emporter pour 13h00. Une fois arrivée sur place, notre commande n’avait même pas commencé à être préparée alors que la serveuse affirmait que « ça y est, c’est prêt »…

Nous avons quitté le restaurant à 13h40 alors que notre pause était de 12h00 à 13h00. Résultat nous n’avons pas eu le temps de manger.

Au lieu de s’excuser, la serveuse nous a dit qu’on avait de la chance de ne pas attendre plus longtemps parce que l’attente est longue en général. Elle n’a pas non plus accepté de faire un geste commercial. Il semblerait qu’il soit normal pour eux de faire patienter les clients même s’ils ont commandé 1h avant.
