Excellent food in a very nice restaurant. Not to busy at the time we were there and enough space between the tables. Only one remark, the service is a bit hasty. Once you are done, your next course is already brought to the table. A bit more time between the courses would be better so you can really enjoy the food.

Le service était impeccable : attentif sans être envahissant, avec une parfaite maîtrise du rythme entre les plats. La présentation des assiettes était soignée et raffinée, mettant en valeur des produits frais et de qualité. Chaque bouchée était un véritable plaisir, alliant saveurs équilibrées et créativité du chef. L’ambiance du restaurant, élégante et conviviale, ajoute une touche supplémentaire à cette expérience gastronomique. Un sans-faute du début à la fin ! Je recommande vivement et reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Großes restaurant, dennoch ganz gemütlich. Ich sass allerdings auf einem korbsessel, der sah zwar gut aus, war aber viel zu niedrig und trotz diverser Kissen unbequem. Der service war superfreundlich und schnell. Unser essen empfanden wir als durchschnittlich. Insbesondere fanden wir das gourmetmenü nicht besser als das Tagesmenü - obwohl es fast doppelt so teuer war. Wir hatten einen Espresso und eine Tasse Kaffee. Auf der Rechnung stand allerdings eine Tasse Kaffee und ein Cappuccino. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt der Kaffee sei der Espresso und der Cappuccino sei der Kaffee. Merkwürdig!

Beautiful location with a cozy terrace and an eye for detail.

We both chose the 3-course menu, which offers something for every taste with three choices for starter, main course and dessert. Both the sea bream and the corn chicken were a poem. First a perfect foie gras and later a superb dessert of an English cream refined with pastis to a slightly caramelized brioche, or a very sophisticated creme brulee. After we called them and they confirmed the shoes have been found, my husband and my daughter drove 2 hrs to the restaurant to get them back only to arrive there and were told they are not there. Not been to Mimizan before, had a quick look around and liked the look of this restaurant. We were not disappointed.
