Good points: very nice staff, friendly and welcoming, clean with spotless kitchen. Nice bread and the duck breast was tender and tasty. Bad points: nothing was seasoned which made verything tasteless - the fish was just watery and unseasoned, served with overcooked carrots, which were actually OK but did not compliment the fish in coconut milk at all. Prawn starter was drowned in oily dressing, and the prawns were watery. Overall I could not recommend this restaurant which is a shame because the staff were lovely but the chef needs to use some seasoning. Read moreWe are currently on holiday and yesterday evening we had dinner at la table de l'esquirol. The atmosphere is very friendly, you can feel the warmth and love for good food. The chef is very professional, he advised us perfectly on the dishes. His wife is a very nice woman, smiling and very friendly. She makes delicious desserts. My Crème Brûlée was outstanding. Read moreNous n'avions pas réservé, nous étions dix affamés (plus deux imprévus qui sont arrivés 5 minutes plus tard)... Malgré le "coup de chaud" en cuisine, nos hôtes se sont pliés en quatre pour nous accueillir en terrasse, étant convenu que nous ne ferions pas les difficiles sur ce qu'il était possible de nous servir. Nous avons très bien mangé et nous avons pu bénéficier en outre de conseils d'itinéraire de la part du patron (groupe de motards en pleine "saison" de gravillonnage... Encore merci pour les tuyaux qui nous évité cette galère !) Les plus locaux d'entre nous reviendront avec plaisir......
