A tola di Emma — Restaurant in Montpellier

We were looking for a more local place in Sete to have a nice dinner and were dis find it at Emma’s. My husband got one of their signatures- stew with wild pig and i got a tentacle of octopus (on the picture). The food tasted great- it really did. But the low grade is because there was quite a small tentacle and only 1 for my main dish that also costed 26€. my husband got lots of that stew with lots of meat in it which was even cheaper. While i really dont mind paying the price i dont think the amount of food was adequate the price. I was hungry afterwards… initially wanted desert but my mood got spoiled so we left...

13 h 38, en Novembre, un mercredi, enfin nous trouvons, par hasard, un resto ouvert... Et quel restaurant !!! Le patron en cuisine, La patronne à l'accueil et en salle, bref un duo qui fonctionne parfaitement ! Accueillis chaleureusement et avec le sourire par Emma dans une salle avec une belle décoration, nous comprenons rapidement que les plats seront principalement Corse et ce n'est pas pour nous déplaire ! Nous posons 3 ou 4 questions sur les plats ainsi que sur le vin et nous sommes très bien conseillés par Emma qui connaît parfaitement ses carte (menus et boissons). Et tout cela avec professionnalisme et sourire. Bravo Emma. Les plats : pour moi brochettes de thon et gambas et pour mon mari civet de sanglier. Accompagnés, pour tous les 2, d'une purée maison. Plats copieux c'est vrai et l'on constate immédiatement que ce sont des produits frais, cuisinés maison (il n'y a pas de doute possible). Tout est tout simplement EXCELLENT !!! Assiettes belles au regard, appétissantes et les produits sublimés par la cuisine du chef. Bravo à lui. Pour nous, parfait de A à Z : on a vraiment énormément apprécié et nos papilles vous disent mille fois merci à tous les 2. We had an amazing meal here for my and my twin sisters birthday. The food was absolutely amazing and what a wonderful menu choice. The portions were very generous.
