Wanted to try this gelato place from the moment I saw it. It was a place that was as busy as the tapa places nearby, and didn’t seem too fancy. Also the staff were all smiling, and looked friendly— and my hunch was right! What a delightful experience it was! The staff who helped me had great recommendations but also was very attentive. Unfortunately, I cannot speak French and I am ashamed about not having to know even the simplest expressions! But she was more than accommodating and first made me feel very welcomed (thank you!) Loved their watermelon sorbet—was still smooth and creamy without dairy! 🤩 wow! And the biscotti and yogurt were lovely as well, but if I went there on a sunny day, watermelon and yogurt would be a great smoothie-turned-gelato experience. 🍉 Also tried their fruit infused tea, and was just the perfect balance of sweet-yet-still-tea taste with a hint of the bitterness coming from the tea. Again, hot days—I would probably have a hard time deciding between the watermelon sorbet and this one! 🤣

The reviews were right! This place was magical and a wonderful way to end a whole day of city-exploring!

Siamo stati in questa gelateria diverse volte e l'abbiamo anche consigliata ai nostri amici in passato, ma non mi sento più di consigliarla ora. Tutta colpa del servizio. Siamo andati con un gruppo di amici un sabato pomeriggio per un gelato. Erano le 18:30 circa. Una nostra amica ne ha approfittato per allattare la sua piccolina di meno di tre mesi mentre noi ordinavamo. Ci siamo seduti per consumare i gelati e dopo poco uno dei camerieri ci ha fatto capire che dovevamo andare via impilando le sedie che si trovavano accanto a noi e dicendoci che la nostra presenza avrebbe creato dei problemi con la polizia. Erano le 19 in punto. Abbiamo chiesto di rimanere giusto il tempo di terminare i gelati: c'erano due bambini piccoli che avrebbero avuto difficoltà a mangiare i gelati camminando e la nostra amica avrebbe avuto il tempo per finire di allattare. Ci è stato detto che non era possibile e che eravamo poco rispettosi visto che ci avevano informati che non avremmo potuto consumare al tavolo ma solo ordinare d'asporto. Solo che questa informazione non ci era stata data e l'unica cosa che ci era stata detta, in malo modo, era che non avremmo più potuto ordinare i gaufres. La nostra parola è stata messa in questione (eravamo in tre nella gelateria ad ordinare e nessuno di noi ha sentito questa informazione che, a quanto pare, viene comunicata sistematicamente dalle ore 18:30 in poi). Da quel momento in poi la situazione è trascesa ed è diventata sgradevole. Ci siamo innervositi tutti e abbiamo deciso di andare via nonostante i gelati non fossero ancora tutti finiti e la nostra amica stesse ancora allattando. Sul tavolo erano rimasti dei tovaglioli e le coppette vuote: il cameriere ci ha detto che eravamo dei maleducati, ma che non era stupito e ha aggiunto " deve essere qualcosa di culturale". In tanti anni che vivo all'estero è la prima volta che mi sono confrontata con un commento razzista, del tutto fuori luogo. È stata una situazione davvero molto surreale e assurda. Il tutto per aver chiesto di rimanere 5 minuti in più per terminare i nostri gelati (pagati comunque a caro prezzo). Quello che ho detto al cameriere prima di andare via è che probabilmente dovrebbe pensare di cambiare lavoro perché non sembra capace di gestire la relazione con il pubblico. Una sua collega mi ha detto "chi me le paga le ore di lavoro in più?". Peccato che noi chiedessimo solo 5 minuti e...

I have no comments on the ambiance or the service. The lady that served us is very nice and the place is in a nice spot.

My remarks are solely and only on the gelato itself and its price and on MY experience (which could be unusual seeing that the place has 4.9 stars from over 1k reviews): I lived in Italy for 7 years and I ate at some world-best gelaterie and I never paid around 5€ for 2 scoops - that's insanely expensive!!! My gelato contained 2 scoops: pistachio and stracciatella. Imma start by commenting on the stracciatella flavor. It tasted like milky water with flavorless chocolate ships. It's like biting into milk with minimum flavor Why isn't the pistachio green? Why does it taste like sugar with no pistachio? What did I eat? I'm full of wrath and fury, never ever...
