Les Poissons d'abord — Restaurant in Montpellier

Service is abhorrent. I was lured in by the positive reviews but I’m not sure what others see in this establishment. I walked in to the store and made my way towards the back as there was no one there to receive guests. I saw a bartender / waiter and asked her if I could have a table. Her reply was a curt “WAIT.” Excuse me but I believe you meant “please wait, I will be with you momentarily.” When I was seated, no menu is provided or any explanation about how the service / menu works. 5 mins later, the same lady comes around and slams down a bottle of water on my table. Not a single word. Does the same thing at another table. A few mins later, she brings in this big chalk board with menu items and slams in front of my table with no explanation. Again no single word. Was she just re-locating the menu board? If you dislike your job, find a new one! It’s like she was throwing a tantrum and taking out some issue on everyone. I soon realized that this place is a joke (at the very least the side that is masquerading as a restaurant with some resemblance of service) and decided to leave. It was not worth it to stick around to try the food. Clearly no respect for patrons so why should I believe the food is prepared with respect as well? Fellow travelers, you...

d'abord c'est pas un poisson d'avril ! je suis pas du signe du poisson, mais étang remplie d'eau à travers mon signe du verseau j'adore tout naturellement manger du poisson ! habituellement je mange beaucoup de sardines et du poissons frit que j'apprécie énormément ! et même si je suis pas trop fan pour en manger souvent et pas forcément le vendredi ( le jour du poisson) moi la p'tite sardine, je m'arête pas sur la première arete que je trouve ! mais je voudrais juste arête T de me prendre la tête avec tous les requins jaloux qui foutent la MER 2 dans ma vie ! et je salut au passage mr thon thon alimentation !oui à ganges de toute façon, ils font tous le même métier poissonneux : P et maquereaux ! oui bon me direz vous le poisson ça pu de partouze ! oui tout un programme poissonnier à prendre avec légèreté et humour ! si un jour je m'arete net de rigoler c'est que j'aurai trouver une arrête dans mon poisson ? non même pas ! moi j'aime pas foutre la MER de à l'horizon ! sardine elle prefere de loin l'humour en mer ! et à tous les gros curieux qui veulent savoir ma vie !
