Oudi'S - Mon bar a falafel — Restaurant in Montpellier

We were recommended Oudi’s by the owners of the place we were staying and we are glad we took them up on it! Very friendly and attentive staff and wonderful, secluded outdoor street dining space made it a very special meal. We had the sharing menus and it was all delicious and the homemade parfait for dessert was fantastic! We asked the restaurant ahead about gluten free options and it was only the pita breads that weren’t gluten free....

Très cher pour ce que c est!!! 25 € par personne pour une assiette d "assortiments"! Par comparaison,c est le même prix avec entrée ,plat et dessert au "Garde manger",un semi gastro un tout petit peu plus loin à Mauguio où nous avons justement très bien mangé et en avons eu pour notre argent quelques mois plus tôt !( Je certifie qu ils ne nous ont pas payé pour écrire ces lignes et que ce ne sont pas des amis non plus !!!) Le repas est bon ,sans plus! Les falafels qui sont censés être là spécialité maison sont ce que ma copine et moi avons le moins aimé... Il était censé y avoir des aubergines :il y en avait 2 effectivement !!! C est également censé être pour 2 personnes, heureusement que mon amie ne mange pas beaucoup sinon ça aurait fait juste en quantité ! A un moment ,nous avons eu besoin d une carafe d'eau,personne dans la salle pendant plus de 5 minutes (très peu de couverts ce soir la, 2 tables plus la nôtre,je pense maintenant comprendre pourquoi...)! On nous a effectivement amené la carafe mais à la fin du dessert! Accueil très moyen,autant au téléphone pour réserver,ça aurait dû nous alerter ...qu en salle en arrivant ... Bref très déçu,je ne recommande pas du tout et bien sûr,ils ne nous y...

We went to the restaurant to try something different and were not disappointed. The owner was very kind and patient and she took the time to explain the dishes to us as well as her background. Very great atmosphere and amazingly tasty food. I highly recommend this place to anyone and especially the falafel as they are very crunchy...
