This place is off the charts good. You walk through the shop and order what you want then they prepared for you. Then dine alfresco with all the other seafood lovers. Have a local artisanal beer or a glass of wine. Ça c'est tres bon! I had the shrimp, the clams, the oysters and a piece of whole fried sole. The clams were so savory and delicious (like nothing I've ever had). Everything was superb. You can also get a tielle sétoise and take away for lunch a le plage.

Nice place without too many pretensions, in the center but a little away from the comings and goings of the mass. Chosen at the last moment for dinner, we didn't have high expectations but in reality the dinner was very good and the bill was more than fair. Friendly staff, it won't be a starred restaurant but it's not bad.

Je ne vais juger uniquement que les moules frites n'ayant consommé que ça. Déception totale... Si seulement les moules avaient été lavées nettoyées et débarrassées de toutes les impuretés et coquillages, nous aurions très probablement apprécié. Je ne demande pas des coquilles lustrées ou polies, mais trop d'éléments qui ne donnent pas envie sachant que c'est "cuisiné avec" Première fois de ma vie que je tombe sur des moules aussi mal nettoyées.. Je ne parlerai pas des frites (finalement si) qui étaient d'une texture chewing-gum comme si l'huile avait des années ! Ou alors faut arrêter de prendre l'huile des churros pour cuire des frites !! Dommage pour un restaurant bien noté.

I lived in Montpellier for 6 months and visited the restaurant about 10 times with different people. The feedback was always very good. I tried almost the entire menu and it was always very tasty. The food is fresh, well flavoured and beautifully presented. The waiters are very friendly, helpful and can speak english very well. The restaurant is located, close to a beautiful church. Waited at least 20 minutes before we were even able to order. People who came after us were served their meals before we even had the chance to order. Tried to attract the attention of the waitress a few times - without success.

Background info: my wife and I live in Germany and the friend who was with us is German, so if course we were speaking German - now I don't know if that has anything to do with it...

in any case, I ordered in French.

One of the top restaurants in Palavas. We spent a week here in what is quite a touristy destination and this place was hands-down outstanding. The staff were an absolute delight: it was my son’s birthday, and they surprised him with a special dessert celebration.
