Visited in September 2024. I had the evening menu with scallops, fish, and shortbread. The most interesting part of the meal was the spinach with raisins, which was the side for the fish. I was generally disappointed with the lack of taste in the food. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good either. I could taste neither the yuzu not the wasabi in the starter, both of which are pretty strong ingredients with characteristic taste. The fish was okay. The dessert was both boring and hard to eat because of the layering of the fruit slices and the large quantity of cream on top. Service was okay but not very professional. We were a large party of approximately 40 people, so we were seated inside. The seats were comfortable, but the restaurant was loud and you could see inside messy service areas. Read moreGreat food and dining experience in Montpellier. We had only one evening in town and I am glad we chose this restaurant. Their garden seating is just gorgeous and the service was excellent. The owner was present and very attentive to everyone’s needs when it began to rain. The food is creative and delicious. I was a bit apprehensive from our entrees as they were a bit strange. An Asian fusion twist that didn’t quite work well, but our main dishes surpassed expectations. I would suggest sticking to the more classic french dishes, like the bar roti or the lamb (our choices). The prices are great (compared to Paris) and I would certainly return here if I have the chance....
