The expression "saved by the bell" applies here as "saved by the desserts". The setting of the restaurant and the estate are both breathtaking and the service is immaculate and professional. Having said that though... I was expecting more taste and flavours out of the dishes we chose from the Menu Création which promised transparent cannelloni with Lobster filling for starters and succulent rack of lamb for main. To be very honest the dishes fell short of delivering their intentions. The cannelloni was very absent in taste while the lobster and mayonnaise felt more like a hastily prepared afternoon snack done at home. The Lamb needed some accompaniment that was simply not there and I really did not appreciate the tomato paste that was lathered on top of the meat... it could have tasted better.
