A fabulous restaurant. We were there on the evening that the Tour de France passed through the town, the whole place was rocking! Despite every table being full the service and attention from the staff was exemplary. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My entrecôte steak was stunning and well accompanied by the local cheese sauce. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Bonjour, première visite dans cette brasserie. Un serveur qui vous dit bonjour alors que vous êtes à l'extérieur entrain de consulter la carte, ça donne déjà envie d'entrer. Un autre serveur nous installe donc, très poli egalement, puis uns serveuse participe au sercice , très agréable aussi avec pour ces 3 employés un service IMPECCABLE. Un menu à 15€ plat, dessert et boisson..mais quel menu, le plat ( Tartare de boeuf préparé, frites et salade) EXCELLENT et COPIEUX, dessert parfait. Le café au prix raisonnable de 1,50€. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de cette brasserie et avons trouvé notre point de chute lors de nos prochains séjours. A bientôt pour encore partager un bon moment, nous reviendrons...pas plus tard que demain car nous sommes pour deux jours à Montreuil. Félicitations à toute l'équipe.

👍 Nous y sommes allés à cinqs. Verdict un régal collectif !, Camembert fondu, pavé de rumsteck, hamburger revisité, très bon, copieux, le fait maison se sent particulièrement (frite fraîche par exemple ou sauces faites maison et donc délicieuses ! ). Pour les desserts, nous avons bien mangé aussi, que ce soit la crème brûlé, une coupe de glace ou la tarte au pomme. Cependant petit bémol sur le fondant au chocolat qui était au final un gâteau au chocolat simplement le côté fondant qu'on recherche dans ce dessert gourmand n'y était pas. Superbe soirée, beau décor, bien situé car sur la grand place avec parking devant. Possibilité de mangé en intérieur OU en extérieur. Possibilité de venir manger avec le chien attaché 😊

/we have been using this restaurant for more years than I can remember, alwats loved it, the staff, the food and the ambience. Re visited this monthMay 2022 and had dinner, first night, Lunch and dinner second night, Served by a wonderful smiling waitress who completely helped to enjoy our meal (like me shealso likes floating islands) Unfortuantly no longer on the menu (shame) Looking forward to our next visit hopefullu quite soon as I/we love Montriuel and the people and of course Brasserie Le Caveau. Fantastic little place. Two doors from our accommodation, which was handy! Lovely vibe about the place. For our entire stay it was always busy (never a bad sign). The food was delicious and my wife and I never felt rushed. I had fish soup to start, my wife had beef carpaccio. I had the pork ribs for main and my wife the chicken supreme. We went here whilst visiting family in the area. The food was really mixed good, we had 3 meals of which mine, the Entrecôte steak was barely edible. It was so tough I could barely eat it. It was busy whilst we were there and the service was not great, we waited over an hour for our meal and all the time there was a guy paying the piano and singing, he was quiet good but far to loud for the space and we could barely hear each other speak, all in all a really disappointing experience.
