Brasserie Le Caveau — Restaurant in Montreuil-sur-Mer

/we have been using this restaurant for more years than I can remember, alwats loved it, the staff, the food and the ambience. Re visited this monthMay 2022 and had dinner, first night, Lunch and dinner second night, Served by a wonderful smiling waitress who completely helped to enjoy our meal (like me shealso likes floating islands) Unfortuantly no longer on the menu (shame) Looking forward to our next visit hopefullu quite soon as I/we love Montriuel and the people and of course Brasserie Le Caveau. Fantastic little place. Two doors from our accommodation, which was handy! Lovely vibe about the place. For our entire stay it was always busy (never a bad sign). The food was delicious and my wife and I never felt rushed. I had fish soup to start, my wife had beef carpaccio. I had the pork ribs for main and my wife the chicken supreme. We went here whilst visiting family in the area. The food was really mixed good, we had 3 meals of which mine, the Entrecôte steak was barely edible. It was so tough I could barely eat it. It was busy whilst we were there and the service was not great, we waited over an hour for our meal and all the time there was a guy paying the piano and singing, he was quiet good but far to loud for the space and we could barely hear each other speak, all in all a really disappointing experience.
