This is the perfect place to stay if you have an awkward ferry time, or simply want to extend your stay in France. Roscoff has a wealth of glorious historic buildings, fine dining, crepes/pizza and lots of seaside/sailing themed gift shops. The hotel was very welcoming, spotlessly clean, lovely decor and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious too. Highly recommend.

We went to the restaurant for lunch and it was a great food experience! Oysters were really just great and the seafood dish of the day was nothing short than amazing. Everything was very well presented. Desert was also quite good. Personnel was kind and responsive. Service was reasonably fast. A bit expensive but absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Chez Janie in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Luckily this hotel took the measures to avoid spreading COVID-19 seriously. The rooms weren't made up if you stayed for less then 3 nights. If you needed clean towels or toilet paper, you could get those yourself at the reception. They also asked to ventilate your room thoroughly.||||Our room was situated at the end of a corridor in a small hall you had to enter through double doors. There was a another room whose door also opened into this small hall. This was very unfortunately, because those double doors were very noisy. Especially in the morning we got woken up several times by the noise of those doors. The rooms themselves were hardly sound proof. We could hear a lot of noise from our neighbors.||||The room itself was clean. The shower was fine, but it was hard to keep the bathroom dry when you took a shower.||||The breakfast buffet was kind of basic, no cooked options. You had to show to the staff what you wanted to have for breakfast and than they put your choices on a plate for you. The brownies were very good, though!||||There was no luggage room, so when we asked after checkout if we could leave our luggage in the hotel for some hours, the staff had to put them behind the reception desk.||||The hotel is situated right in the...

We arrived and expected as per a previous email some detail about where to park. No response at reception other than a shrug. We ended up paying. ||There was confusion regarding which room we would be allocated but 14 was decided after a staff debate. So we went to that room and it was occupied !||We were then given a nice room with a sea view and I think we were the only occupants!||After a rest we decided to go out and were immediately questioned by reception about the second room we had booked. It was cancelled months ago and our Bookings portal supported this and eventually they accepted their error.||On returning later we were then questioned by reception as to whether we were staying there by the same person who we had been dealing with!||To add insult to injury we could not catch our ferry as despite telling reception we had to leave at 7am the reception is not manned until 7.30. We eventually left via the fire escape.||We are well travelled and lived in France for 12 years and speak fluent so none of this nonsense was down to misunderstandings.||Quite simply hopeless customer service and lack thought.||Nice...
